Fancy'n'Artsy

PICTURE POST
*CLICK BIG*
So lately I've been to some, I'd say, fancy restaurants o口(・∀・ )

As Tokyo is full of skyscrapers, they have a LOT of nice restaurants on the top floors which gives you an amazing view.
I went to a restaurant in Shinjuku Nomura Buliding on the 50th floor. But unfortunately that day, I didn't bring my camera (stupid!!ヘ(><#)ノ). I did get some pictures on my crappy Iphone though, but something is wrong with the synchronization, so I can't even transfer them (┳Д┳)
But out of the two restaurants I went to, that one was definitely the best!! And I mean.. 50th floor?!
(((( ;°Д°))))

The pictures are from Manhattan Table in Shinjuku Washington Hotel (25th floor).
The restaurants are as expected a bit pricey but is definitely a nice experience!
There are tables placed along the windows so you can sit and gaze at the view while enjoying a nice dinner (●´∀`●)

On the way home I went past the LOVE statue again, this time pimped up with xmas illumination.

Rainy days in Tokyo
Yesterday I met with a friend and we went to Shibuya and Harajuku so I could do some xmas shopping. Sadly it was raining and we were both stupid and forgot umbrellas lol! Nothing a 100yen shop can't fix though! We were both pretty cheap and didn't wanna buy an umbrella for 500yen which they cost on the street on rainy days, so we ran to the closest 100yen shop to fix ourselves a nice 200yen umbrella lololol ๏[-ิ_•ิ]๏

There's a nice Art Gallery in Harajuku called DESIGN FESTA GALLERY. It's really a visit worth if you go to Harajuku! I don't have any pictures myself, but visit their website and check it out!
It really has the bit crazy Harajukuish atmosphere and they have a café and bar which is really nice! The building and all the walls at the place is all covered with art.

Right next to the gallery is an Okonomiyaki restaurant which is part of the gallery as well. I went there yesterday for dinner ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

They have all-you-can-eat okonomiyaki as well, but me and my friend weren't THAT hungry though as we wanted to save some space for Harajuku crepe later as well lol.
The restaurant, like the rest of the place, is all covered by art. It gives a really nice and artsy atmosphere.

You get the okonomiyaki ingredients in a bowl that you have to mix yourself ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ
And then you put it on the big frying plate and shape it into a nice okonomiyaki pancake ヽ(^。^)丿

It was super delicious and fun to make yourself too even though my friend that claimed he knew how to make it kinda fucked up the the second one we ordered lol! Oh yeah and the restaurant even had an English menu with directions on how to make it! Really nice!

Bad Luck

So... I guess we all know how it feels when bad luck just hit you really hard... And you just wished that you could rewind time!!

Sadly that technology isn't developed yet (ノ ̄д ̄)ノ

Well I've been looking REALLY much forward to yesterday since I was going to another live. And it would be the last live with that special band I've seen a couple of times now before I leave Japan.

So I've been super hyped and couldn't wait for it to become Monday since last week so I could go and see them!!

Like, the same kinda feeling when you were a kid and was looking forward for your Birthday or Christmas (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

And then it just never came. (;へ:)

I totally screwed up yesterday and missed the live..! How could it happen!?!?! I still can't believe it...

I got up in time to get myself ready. And I was actually really happy with my makeup and hair!!

Makeup close-up

And the hairband thing I'm wearing lol. It's like the thing they use when they take a bath.

↓↓↓ Like that ↓↓↓
I just use it when putting on makeup sometimes as well (^^ゞ

 and hair

So everything was good. I left to meet with a friend before the live. And then I was supposed to meet up with my roomie Pat to go to the live together afterwards.

First he told me he suddenly felt bad and might go home (」゜ロ゜)」 And I totally freaked out 'cause I didn't wanna go to the live alone. But luckily he showed up anyway since it was just a sudden caffeine-shock attack lololol (don't drink too much coffee!!) (¬д¬。)

The Live was supposed to start at 6:30 with six bands lined up. And I looked at the band list where it seemed like the band I wanted to see were playing almost last. So I thought it would be ok to come a bit later since Pat was late anyway.

So we showed up at an hour later at 7:30. And on the way down to the venue we bumped into the band. And they were like 'Oh! Hey! You're late!!' which I first thought of as 'late since it started an hour ago'. Pat wanted to buy a beer so we went out to get one and then went back to the venue to buy the ticket.

The booker asked which band we were going to see. And then told us they already played........ And I was a bit confused, since firstly everything was in Japanese of course, and secondly I just really wouldn't believe what he was saying.
I then asked the guy from the band if they already played which he confirmed and then I was like.. eeeeeeh!?!?!
ffffffffffffffffff...........................

I went totally blank 'cause it just couldn't be happening ヽ(●゚´Д`゚●)ノ゚
Pat asked what I then wanted to do, if I wanted to see the other bands. But it just all seemed so pointless paying for the ticket and then not even be able to see the band you came for MAJOR FAIL!!!

I asked the guy from the band when they played, and he told me they were the FIRST band playing! wtf!?! So they just listed the bands randomly or what!?!?

Well I felt super bad and didn't know what to do.. I just wanted to cry... which I also did lol (ノД`)・゜・
I just wished it was all a nightmare. Like I usually get nightmares before something important I have to remember. I usually dream that I miss the whole thing and totally screw up. Well this time it actually happened.. /sad

Well since we were in town already I didn't just wanna waste the day and go home. I'd probably just go into my room and cry anyway lol. So we hit the game center and I got to kill some monsters lololol Ψ(´▽`)Ψ

afterwards we went to a café and it was all sadness again and we went home and watched a movie instead (ΦωΦ)

On top of that I've been sick the past days so I been staying home 3 days in a row and just wanted to go out!!! I finally did Sunday with awesome all night karaoke! But since Monday was the day I was looking forward to........ sadness....../fail

But enough sadness for now lol
You've probably noticed I overuse emoticons a lot (´∀`)♡

Wel I found more of the really cute gyaru ones!! (人´∀`*)

and a bunch more HERE

I'm sorry that was all for now ( ;  ; )
I thought I would have something interesting after this Weekend, but well... sickness and failness killed it all. And I even brought my camera which I haven't used for so long.
I took this picture in the coffee shop we went to only.... /sad

December 1st ♥

Hey everyone!!

I can't believe it's already December 1st!!

Which means that I have exactly 22 days left in Japan. I feel like crying already 。:゚(。ノω\。)゚・。

Luckily I'll will for sure be back next year and stay for a year if things go the way I want them to!! which they usually don't, but you have to believe right!?

I'm now thinking 3 months back in time where I was still anxious and worried about going alone for the first time for that long. Wow that feels like sooo long ago (◎_◎;)

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
And for once, I'm gonna provide you crappy cellphone photos since I haven't been anywhere out of the amusing to bring my usual DSLR camera lol Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)ノ
Shinjuku east
Tokyo is geared up for Christmas EVERYWHERE! The 'saving electricity' thing probably not applies for Christmas decoration and illumination lol!

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

Yesterday I went to a soccer game. And you're probably thinking "wtf are you into soccer??" and the answer is no, not at all ヽ(´ー`)┌
Well but my roomie Patrick (i always think of Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants when I say his name loool) got some free tickets for this game and I had nothing better to do.

I could just look at the cute guys playing soccer (*°∀°)=3
.
.
.
OR SO I THOUGHT!!

Turns out it's a GIRLS' soccer game........... ⊙▂⊙

WTF why you didn't tell me before PAT!? (」゜ロ゜)」

Oh well...

I've never been to a soccer game before, so it was kinda amusing to sit at the big stadium and feel the atmosphere and stuff! The game wasn't very amusing though, no goals until the last 10 min and it ended 1-1.... But it was still a fun experience kinda!
And all the Japanese players looked so small compared to the Western opposing team. It looked like small children lol

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

The other day we went to an izakaya, and we'd ordered some colorful drinks. And then we were like 'Hey! It's like a traffic light signal!!' loool ヽ(○´∀`)ノ♪

/random
☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

And for the fun and randomness because I love Japanese engrish~

I've had the biggest laughs due to these へ(゜∇、°)へ
Awesome CACKTAILS~!!

Hum and cheese... pffft..........

☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆

 And random camwhoring.

COULD THIS POST GET MORE RANDOM!?

♡o。.(✿ฺ。 ✿ฺ)

Anyway, I think I'll be doing more amusing stuff during the weekend, and I'm going to a live this Monday as well which I'm really looking forward to!

I'll be back!!

Odaiba and Fall in Kodaira

Rainbow Bridge
I went to Odaiba, Tokyo, a small Island just a couple of minutes away from Tokyo or Shimbashi station. You take a monorail to get out their which is really beautiful as you get a really nice view♫
Mango Coconut Bubble Tea ♥
Goi Cuon - Vietnamese fresh springrolls
Pho - Vietnamese noodle soup
I haven't had Vietnamese food for months which I reallyyyyy miss.. So I was sooo happy when I saw you could get some Vietnamese dishes at one of the restaurants ♥
Odaiba was all decoed up for Christmas lol. It was really pretty! Especially at night ( ̄▽ ̄)

Rainbow Bridge at night♫

Pretty Christmas tree ♥
I've been to Odaiba before, but not at night time yet which was really pretty! I rode the ferris wheel they had out there as well and looking down on the city that looks like an ocean of stars is just... (* ̄o ̄*)

FALL IN KODAIRA

*GETS* Japan so far

So here's my long awaited GET post! ( ^ _ ^)∠☆

I won't show you EVERYTHING lol, but just some of my favs ( ´ ▽ ` ) I've bought a bunch of awesome stockings and so on, but it's kinda difficult to show >n<

Anyways, let's get on with the post! My favorite shopping place is definitely Harajuku lol since I'm so cheap and Shibuya.

I'll start with the shoes~
Both from Harajuku.
Momo, Harajuku (2500yen)
I love these boots a lot! They remind of some I have at home a lot though lol, but I'm a sucker for those kind of designs ( ̄▽ ̄) They are comfortable to wear and easy to walk in. They don't look that tall, but they are around 8cm.
Harajuku (1500yen)
This design is pretty popular in Japan right now. The school girl kinda look but high heel design. I wasn't sure I liked them in the beginning, but they look kinda cool and classy in shiny black, so I completely fell for them lol! Maria bought the same pair just in matte brown~
Maria insisted we should wear them a whole day. After 20 min they hurt so much we both ran out to buy flats LOL
Momo, Harajuku (2500yen)
My new fav bag ♥ It's not too big, not too small, even fits my DSLR camera, wallet AND makeup bag. PERFECT! lol
109, Shibuya (2500yen)
Wine/Dark red is totally in this fall/winter I noticed. And luckily, wine red just became my new fav color LOL
This bag fits EVERYTHING lol. It's really nice if you need to bring an extra shirt or something since it can contain sooo much. I like the dusty rockish design it has ♫
SPICA, 109, Shibuya (1990yen)
Long slim shirt/dress.
Secondhand, Harajuku (630yen each)
Leopard skirt and fluff hot pants. I know the fluffy shorts aren't that popular anymore, but I still think they look pretty cute lol ♥
Shibuya (1890yen)
Super comfortable oversize shirt ♥ Found it in a small shop in the small streets of Shibuya. A really cute and nice old couple owned the store and they were so nice aaw. Defintely coming back hehe♫ I love walking in the small streets and kinda go on adventure~♪
JSG, 109, Shibuya (5600yen)
One of my fav sweaters! Though not too warm with the whole in the back lol! And I'm not really into the cat ear stuff, but I loved the design so much i didn't care this time lol. I love the detail with the star accessory in the back as well. Look hella sexy lol!!
Momo, Harajuku (1000yen)
I love this oversized top so much! I really like the laze back~
Momo, Harajuku (1500yen)
At first thought, I didn't think this shirt would be my style at all. But then at second thought - I'm really a sucker for lacy/see-through/special backs lol! ♥ And I'm loving this shirt. I was soooo happy I found it♫ I'm using it with a top underneath or as a cardigan~
Harajuku (2000yen)
One of my first boughts in Japan actually! can't remember shop name sorry Lovely cardigan, but apparently I'm too fat for it or something cause I can't close the buttons (T_T) But I still it a lot, especially the detail with the whole for the thumb lol. I love shirts with that ♥
Shonen Jump, Landmark Plaza, Yokohama (1800yen)
And yes I'm a total otaku lol! I LOVE chopper from One Piece! He's my current no. 1 character O(≧∇≦)OI can't help it. He's just too cute lol! ♥
Ok and I bought A LOT of accessories. I mostly wear silver as you can see ^^;

Forever 21: 1, 3, 12, 13, 15. (290~590yen)
Claire's: 2 & 6 (~300yen)
Paris Kids: 5, 8, 9, 11, 14 (315yen)
The rest from Korea lol (4, 7, 10)
And then I actually bought some gold accessories as well~
Necklace from Paris Kids, Earring from Claire's, and the rest from Forever 21. (290yen~590yen)

Almost at the end!

Don Quijote ドンキホーテ (3000yen)
Bought a curling iron since my flattening iron doesn't really work in Japan and I use that for curls usually.. I love the pink design ♥ And it warms up super fast!
My last buy is one of my absolute favs.

Perfume!! lol ♫
2900yen
I absolutely LOVE this perfume! The fragrant is soooo nice I'm already addicted! And the price is really reasonable as well *Q* I was looking at some different from the same Samourai brand that smelled pretty nice as well. But this one was the absolute winner! It's a kinda fresh rosery-flower smell. I'm not really into the sweet or heavy kinda perfumes, so this one was perfect for my! Freshness~♫

I'm definitely gonna go back and buy other perfumes loooool. Been looking at a Vivianne Westwood as well~

And that's the end! I must admit I haven't shopped that much at once before! Wow I almost got scared lol. I didn't get everything at once of course. But last week was definitely an extreme shopping week with Maria ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

I went on a date to Odaiba yesterday (ノ´∀`*)ノIt was sooo pretty~

Well what I wanted to say was, I'm gonna show you some pretty pictures next time (^_~)☆
